The Genesis of Boutique Spaces in Maharashtra

Shivraj is a visionary entrepreneur, architect, and hospitality leader, and the Founder of Tranquil Group, a brand redefining experiential living through boutique hospitality and sustainable real-estate development.

Educated at St. Xavier’s School and a Bachelor of Architecture graduate, Shivraj’s journey is deeply rooted in Kolhapur, where strong values and tradition shaped his outlook. In 2005, he moved to Mumbai, transitioning from a small-town upbringing to India’s most dynamic metropolitan environment, an evolution that built resilience, ambition, and a long-term growth mindset.

Over the next decade, he gained extensive experience in real estate, land acquisition, project strategy, and large-scale execution, holding senior leadership roles with Mayfair Housing Pvt. Ltd., Lodha Group, and Godrej Properties Ltd., where he served as General Manager. At the peak of his corporate career, driven by purpose over position, Shivraj chose entrepreneurship

In 2012, he began his entrepreneurial journey as an architect and real-estate strategist, identifying untapped opportunities along Maharashtra’s coastline and heritage destinations. He founded Tranquil Group in 2015, launching a premium beachfront resort and seaside restaurant in Harihareshwar, followed by a boutique city hotel in Pune in 2019. Since 2024, Tranquil has expanded into integrated real-estate and hospitality developments in Lonavala, supporting a pan-India vision.

Beyond business, Shivraj is the Founder and Chairman of NGO “Parivartan”, working across the Maharashtra–Karnataka border on community development and social upliftment.

Savani Shivraj Bhosale-Patil, a post-graduate in Mathematics, is the unwavering partner and co-visionary behind Shivraj's entrepreneurial achievements. She's been an indispensable part of Tranquil since its inception, skillfully balancing her roles as a wife, leader, strategist, and the quiet force driving the brand's expansion. While Shivraj concentrates on operational growth and strategic acquisitions, Savani has built the company's strong foundation, overseeing Finance, Accounts, Administration, and Back-of-House (BOH) operations across all of Tranquil’s hospitality ventures. Despite no formal background in hospitality, her commitment to continuous learning has been key to developing robust internal systems.

Beyond her professional duties, Savani gracefully manages family, social, and corporate responsibilities, embodying a modern, dynamic, and balanced female leader. She's not only the financial backbone but also the emotional compass of the company, providing stability and direction. Her journey highlights quiet strength, relentless dedication, and poise under pressure. Savani stands as the true anchor of Tranquil's success, and her sacrifices, brilliance, and unwavering support are deeply valued.
