The Genesis of Boutique Spaces in Maharashtra

Shivraj Bhosale-Patil is the visionary and dynamic Founder of Tranquil Group. Being an Architect, Entrepreneur and Hospitality Leader; he has redefined experiential living through a blend of boutique hospitality and sustainable real estate. Educated at St. Xavier's School and D. Y. Patil College with a Bachelor's in Architecture, his deep cultural connection to his native Kolhapur inspired him to blend tradition with innovation. After moving to Mumbai in 2005, he gained extensive experience in urban development, project strategy, and land acquisition, working with prominent real estate developers in executive positions.

In 2012, after over 7 years in top corporate roles, Shivraj transitioned to entrepreneurship as an architect and real estate strategist. He recognised the untapped potential in Maharashtra’s coastal and heritage areas, leading him to acquire strategically located land parcels, notably in Harihareshwar. His first real estate project was a 3-acre plotted development near Kolhapur in 2012. Driven by a passion for boutique hospitality, he founded TRANQUIL in 2016, launching a premium beachfront resort and seaside restaurant in Harihareshwar.

Savani Shivraj Bhosale-Patil, a post-graduate in Mathematics, is the unwavering partner and co-visionary behind Shivraj's entrepreneurial achievements. She's been an indispensable part of Tranquil since its inception, skillfully balancing her roles as a wife, leader, strategist, and the quiet force driving the brand's expansion. While Shivraj concentrates on operational growth and strategic acquisitions, Savani has built the company's strong foundation, overseeing Finance, Accounts, Administration, and Back-of-House (BOH) operations across all of Tranquil’s hospitality ventures. Despite no formal background in hospitality, her commitment to continuous learning has been key to developing robust internal systems.

Beyond her professional duties, Savani gracefully manages family, social, and corporate responsibilities, embodying a modern, dynamic, and balanced female leader. She's not only the financial backbone but also the emotional compass of the company, providing stability and direction. Her journey highlights quiet strength, relentless dedication, and poise under pressure. Savani stands as the true anchor of Tranquil's success, and her sacrifices, brilliance, and unwavering support are deeply valued.
